Alpha Phi House
Beta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi

The Beta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi was installed at West Virginia University in April 1930. Alpha Phis have occupied this house in Morgantown since September 1941.

The historic house was renovated and designed to meet housing needs of Beta Iota. This lovely colonial style house conveniently located to campus and town provides most desirable housing for college women. The living room area features a beautiful fireplace, (which is not functional for safety reasons.)

There are ten bedrooms on the 1st floor and nine on the second floor. The house provides space, privacy and many opportunities to gather and promote friendship. Alpha Phi is rich in heritage and traditions. We sincerely feel that the experience of living together in the Alpha Phi house will help to enrich the lives of the women who live there.

The House Corporation Board of Beta Iota, Inc. (HCB) oversees the running of the house. The HBB is comprised of Alpha Phi alumnae who live in the Morgantown area. They volunteer their time to serve on the HCB to assure consistent care and upkeep of the house from year to year.
